Charming cabin to stay and play in at the lake. Have fun swimming and fishing on the lake. This property was a campsites and cross-country ski business so there are hundreds of acres of lettered trails off the property for hiking. We have canoes and Kayaks to rent. Very peaceful and pets are welcome.
The ski mountain is 5 minutes away and you can see the slopes from our lake or from the back lawn.

Summary: My husband and I enjoyed a lovely stay at this cozy cabin on the lake in celebration of our 13th anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to relax with beautiful views! The bed in the living room made for a great movie watching spot, while the bed in the bedroom was super comfortable for nighttime sleep. The cabin is simple with no frills, but it was clean and spacious and met our needs. We appreciated the simplicity of the weekend.We tried fishing from the shore but nothing was biting (probably too cold!) and hiking but the trails leading off the property were hard to find under all the leaves. They didn't seem to be well maintained, but those are on public land, so not the fault of the hosts. We drove to nearby Kaatskill Falls for a nice hike though, and found Windham and Tannersville to have some great restaurants! The rest of the time we cooked our own food in the cabin.All in all, we were pleased with our stay, especially appreciating the beauty of the natural surroundings by the lake and the chance to relax in a cozy cabin!
