Directions to arrive must be given by the owner prior to coming up! Don't attempt to use navigation, this is a remote mountain location, 7 miles from Ouray. Modeled on the European style full service Alpine hut with accommodations potentially shared with other guests. While very comfortable, this is an off-grid lodge. Guests need to bring their own sheet, pillowcase and towels. The new construction features conventional plumbing, a warm open floor plan, rustic timber frame elements and incredible views! Accommodations can be in several private rooms or in shared in partitioned bunk areas. The Chef owner is on site and will prepare you dinner and breakfasts which are sure to impress. Accessible only by TRUE 4wd vehicles (not SUV) or hiking 2.5 miles up. The setting is remote and pristine! It is a perfect way point for those interested in the famous Imogene Pass jeep trail or The full Alpine Loop. Relax in the cedar wood fired hot tub or take in the sunset from the amazing deck after a bumpy day on the trail and enjoy this special brand of rustic luxury!
