The Red Mountain Alpine Lodge is a brand new, beautiful custom timber frame lodge located at 11,000' on Red Mountain Pass. Red Mountain Pass is at the San Juan Mountains' center – Colorado’s most inspiring and diverse mountain range. From one-of-a-kind alpenglow sunsets and alpine wildflowers to the unmatched fall colors and exclusive access to unmatched terrain, our lodge is the ideal all-season escape. The home is pet friendly (2 pet max), and the pet fee is $40/day (Max $250).
Parking: There is room for 4 vehicles. Trailers of any size will need to be dropped at the top of Red Mountain Pass, there's a large parking area for trailers. You can unload on CR 31. Coming from Silverton turn right onto CR31, its the first entrance to CR 31, driving from Ouray it's the second entrance close to the top of the pass, on the left.
Maximum occupancy and the number of guests indicated in your reservation at the time of booking are strictly enforced. Overnight guests who are not at the party as indicated at the time of booking are not permitted. If the number of overnight guests exceeds the number indicated on the reservation, guests will be charged accordingly.
Although the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has advised that Covid-19 is spread mainly by person-to-person contact, we follow CDC guidance relative to cleaning and disinfecting and are following best practices, including paying close attention to high touch surfaces and using the EPA-approved disinfectants for surfaces. Linens, towels, bedsheets, etc are washed per manufacturer's guidelines. We are also minimizing person-to-person contact from check-in through departure.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
