Summary: - The check-in process was very smooth & the house was in great shape overall. While it’s not a shiny new/modern home, it was very cozy and felt like we were staying with relatives or close friends. The house was well stocked with all sorts of kitchenware, plates, glasses, silverware, etc. Dishwasher worked well and it was also handy for drying things that were washed by hand (there is no countertop drying rack).- The garage is deep & can accommodate 2 vehicles. There is a space intended for a 3rd vehicle as well but there are things stored there so it’s not usable to park. - Overall, we had a very comfortable stay. The living room on the main floor was where we all spent most of the time together and it featured a functioning fireplace, a large TV, and ample seating. The dining table also accommodated all of us for the one dinner we shared at the house (so you may want to sit smaller/lighter folks there). There is also a formal living room on the main floor. The A/C worked very well but the thermostat does control the whole house. So, if you “run hot”, consider staying in the basement and if you get cold very easily you will probably want to stay on the second floor.- The washer & dryer also came in clutch- NOTE: The hot water in the house can get scalding hot VERY quickly so be mindful when you run it, especially if it’s cold initially.- Overall, we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay and would not hesitate to stay here again if the opportunity presented itself.
