3 Bedroom Cabin in McKinney Estates, Homewood
We are located in Homewood (in the McKinney Estates neighborhood) between Chamber's Landing and Tahoma.
Our private, newly remodeled home is in West Shore, Lake Tahoe.
Walk through the door of our cabin into all of the comforts and amenities that you would typically expect to have in your own home. Downstairs features a full kitchen with custom concrete countertops, custom cabinets and stainless appliances; dining room with a sliding door leading to the deck; living room with a flat screen t.v. and fireplace; full bathroom with a walk-in tiled slate shower and custom concrete counter; a master bedroom with a King bed; and a laundry room. Upstairs you will find two rooms: a large room with a queen bed and two twin trundle beds (sleeping for 4 in twins or make 2 kings) and a loft room with a door for privacy and a full size bed. There is also a full, tiled bath upstairs with a tub/shower.
This cabin has been in our family for many years and has seen generations of families. We are kid friendly but sorry, no 'furry' kids:) In the winter relax by the wood burning stove and play games or watch your favorite movie. Just a short drive to Homewood Ski Resort for skiiing or snow-boarding or to Granlibakken for some sledding. If you don't want to venture out, enjoy sledding or cross country skiing on the Rubicon Trail. In the summer (our favorite time of the year) walk out the door onto the deck and enjoy the peacefulness and beauty of the area. Grill up some dinner on our gas or charcoal barbeque, sit back and relax. You may even see a black bear stroll through the landscape! If the beach is what you are looking for, we have many nearby with our favorite being Meeks Bay.
