This authentic log cabin is made of hand hewn logs of maple, oak and chestnut brought to this farm from W.VA reassembled with a large 2nd fl bdrm, large 1st fl bathroom with an antique pedestal bathtub/shower, a kitchenette and a screened back porch. Modern amenities. Fireplace with split wood, private setting on farm, central HVAC. Highlands Cabin sits on a knoll off a private drive on 250 acres of farmland above the confluence of two rivers. Guests need to be comfortable with 'the dark of a country night' & the illusion of isolation. We are only 1/2 mile away. This country setting is 4 miles from the center of downtown Lexington with its excellent restaurants, gift shops, historical interests. Enjoy the magic!
