Our 'Sandcastle' Beach House is perfect for a family vacation by the sea! Its unique, soothing architecture brings the beach right into your living area. Our 2 story plus (3rd story Loft and Crow’s Nest) home offers 2,300 square feet of large, bright open spaces lending itself to gatherings of family and friends…plenty of space to spread out.
Our Beach House sleeps 12 in beds...10 adults plus kids under 9 (9 to 17 count as adults). Perfect for 2 families! We also provide a new porta crib and high chair for the babies!
Located in a quiet neighborhood only 1 block from one of Santa Cruz’s best sandy and sunny beaches with steps to the sand at the end of our street. A short walk to Sunny Cove and the other East Cliff beaches, surfing and many great restaurants. Short drive to Capitola Village, Santa Cruz Beach and Boardwalk, hiking and golf. Only 40 minutes from San Jose International Airport and 1 ½ hours south of San Francisco. Nearby, you will find Monterey, Cannery Row, the famous Monterey Bay Aquarium and beautiful Pebble Beach and Carmel…only a 30 to 45 minute drive south.
The views from the Sandcastle are outstanding…cook and dine while watching the lights on the Monterey Bay through the large solarium windows. Enjoy dinners with sweeping views from the second floor deck and sip a glass of wine from the top of the ‘Castle’ on the Crow’s Nest. Gather with the family in the downstairs family room with comfortable sofas, games, Foosball, ping pong and wet bar with a NEW under counter professional clear ice maker and refrigerator.
