This charming traditional-style adobe home with viga ceilings, wood burning fireplace, and a flagstone covered patio, sits on a hilltop offering expansive views of the Taos Mountains and the Wheeler Peak range. Located just 5 miles from the Taos town center, this comfortable and quiet family home is only minutes away from restaurants, shopping and local attractions. The Taos ski valley, which is only 13 miles away, offers a multitude of outdoors activities year-round.
Custom Saltillo tiled radiant heated floors in the living areas and bathrooms provide warmth in the winter months. In the summer months, the interior remains cool because of self-insulating adobe exterior walls.
A modern kitchen comes fully equipped with dishwasher, oven/range, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffeemaker, pots, pans, and tableware. Six guests can comfortably dine at the custom-carved table with a large window wall view of the Taos Mountain. Your group will want to take turns with their seating arrangements to enjoy the gorgeous view!
A charcoal grill is located right outside the dining area on a separate flagstone patio. A patio table and chairs are located under the front portal with sweeping views of the Mountains.

Summary: Lodging does have a spectacular view of the mountains, as advertised, and is in a verdant, nicely settled neighborhood alive with the sound of bird calls. Magical during the monsoons! The home has that great Taos adobe construction with pleasing accoutrements, pleasant even in hot July. A lovely stay.
