It is also close to Wolf Creek Ski Resort and San Juan National Forest and the Weminuche Wilderness. There are trails for mountain biking, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, and hiking. You can sit on the deck with coffee, hot chocolate, or a glass of wine and watch the sunrise or sunset and enjoy many of the wild animals such as fox, deer, geese, eagles, owls and more that have been spotted here.
