This unique Salida log cabin home is perfectly located in the warmth of the valley and surrounded by farms and ranches yet only 10 minutes from Salida.
The home is fully equipped with everything you'll need for an unforgettable stay - whether working remotely, relaxing or seeking adventures. After a long day of adventure, relax by the wood-burning fireplace, on the patio around the fire pit, in the hot tub or in the infrared sauna. Your most difficult decision will be which mountain range to admire or where to stargaze and see the Milky Way. On a moonless night the stars will positively take your breath away.
The space:
Moonlight Acres sits on 7 acres of ranch land just minutes from downtown Salida, Colorado. 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath plus den, in-floor heating and front and back decks facing unobstructed views of the Sangre de Cristo to the South, the Mosquito range to the north and the Sawatch range to the northwest. While preparing your coffee in the open and bright kitchen with vaulted ceilings, you will look out through the dining area into the living room with its two story river rock fireplace and large mountain-view windows. From the living room, you will see down the valley past farms and ranches to the town of Salida and S-Mountain.
Master Bedroom: king-size bed, double-door that opens to the front deck on main floor, walk in shower, jacuzzi tub and double sink; a large walk in closet; twin folding cot and baby crib provided in MBD closet
2nd Bedroom: queen bed with mountain views on second floor
3rd Bedroom: twin bed with mountain views.
Den: comfortable sectional sofa with TV and Roku.
