The Space:
Cozy log home atmosphere with plenty of space for multiple families to enjoy at once. Very Comfortable mattresses and upgraded sheets and pillows for extra comfort. Enjoy soaking in the hot tub after a long day exploring the area. The hot tub is drained and filled after each guest. Any Special requests? We are happy to accommodate! Great yard space around the house for families to enjoy outdoor games.
Bedrooms:
There are 9 bedroom in this spacious property! You enter the property through the ground level entrance and there you will find 6 bedrooms. On the left side there is a bedroom with a king size bed, left middle is a bedroom with a queen size bed, left back is a bedroom with a king size bed. On the right side there is a bedroom with a King size bed, Right middle is a bedroom with a King size bed, right back is a bedroom with 2 queen beds. Upstairs: There are 3 additional bedrooms all with King size beds. Two of the bedrooms on main level also have a chair that pulls out into a small single sleeper for extra guests (bedding stored in closet if needed).
Bathrooms:
There are 3 large bathrooms in the cabin. One bedroom on main level has it's own bath.
Guest Access:
Guests will have exclusive access to the entire home.
The Neighborhood:
Heavily wooded area minutes from Shenandoah National Park and the towns of Luray and Stanley. Also not far from Massanutten Four Season Resort. Just minutes to Luray Caverns (Perfect for those rainy days). Many activities of hiking, kayaking, and just relaxing at the cabin enjoying the mountain views! The property sits on about 6 acres. Summer foliage protects view of neighboring property.
Getting Around:
Parking for 8 to 10 vehicles is adjacent to front entrance of home. Gravel driveway from paved road.
Other Things to Note:
Enjoy the privacy, but also the nearby conveniences of groceries in Luray or Stanley. Additional refrigerator is provided in the game room. The kitchen is well-stocked. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap are provided. Paper products are also provided to get guests started.
Guests should be reminded this is a rural, heavily forested, mountain setting. There can be unwanted pests, from insects to various forms of wildlife. We make every effort to prevent unwanted pests, including enlisting the services of a professional pest control company. Guests are encouraged to use caution and be understanding.
The hot tub is an enjoyable amenity to the property and functions properly ninety-nine percent of the time. Should it malfunction, every effort will be made to repair it as soon as possible. This may happen during your visit. Reimbursement will not be made for lost use of the hot tub.
Guest instructions will be provided. Please note additional fees will be charged should additional cleaning or damage repairs be necessary.
