Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at this house in Point Roberts. It was spacious and comfortable for our family of five -- My husband, 3 teen sons, and myself. There were 3 queen beds and a futon that we used so each boy had his own sleeping space. There were no extra blankets so the owner allowed us to borrow one from the downstairs apartment that we weren't renting. Gary was very easy and pleasant to work with and attentive and quick to respond. We loved the quiet neighborhood. There are no neighbors so close that you can see into their yards or homes. We felt very safe and comfortable allowing our boys to bike around the peninsula at their leisure. They mostly stayed within a few miles of the house. The beach is a short bike ride away and is really fun to visit during low tide. The house stayed cool even when the days were quite warm. We mainly used this home as a jumping off point for our excursions around the Vancouver area. Vancouver, BC is a big city and it was so refreshing to go "home" at the end of a great day to a quiet neighborhood. Going through the border wasn't really an issue for us. We only had to wait one time. One bother was that we couldn't bring most fruits and veggies across either way so we stopped at Walmart each day on the Vancouver side to buy the produce we wanted to eat that day. All in all, this was a great vacation! We hope to come back to this property.
