Summary: This was a very versatile property for actives inside and out for our family. Having access to row boats and a canoe provided a way to get on the water and fish or just get some quiet time. There is a small area for swimming that is mostly sheltered from the wind. One may want to rake a few weeds with the water rake provided, but it was nice and shallow for younger children and gets deeper for the older swimmers. We tied some floaties to the dock rope,so the kids could enjoy them without concern of them blowing away. Wonderful fires down near the water. The fun festive lighting on the lower deck at night added to the ambiance. The upper deck was wonderful for viewing activies going on in the yard below and eating meals in a comfortable setting. The kitchen had everything needed and was outstanding. The linens were nice quality. The host was very attentive and considerate and timely in responding to our questions. I was very impressed.
