Our place at Newman Lake is a great place to rent for all types of get aways for singles, couples or families. The lake is fun for fishing and ski boating. It is 20 min. to downtown Spokane, 35 min. to Silverwood Amusement Park, 20 min to Triple Play indoor water slides and fun park, 60 min. to Silver Mountain ski and summer resort (good place to mountain bike), 50 min. to Mt. Spokane ski resort, and 1 hour 20 min. to Schweitzer ski resort. You will love the forested setting and view of Lake Newman, the nearby forested hiking trails and ATV trails. There is a lot of room for parking in the driveway and in front of the house. There is a king bed in the master bedroom and a queen bed in the second bedroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, etc. and has a dishwasher. We have a washer and dryer, towels, bed linens, ironing board, iron and extra blankets. Its a spacious house with vaulted ceilings and very nice condition. There is a public boat launch a few miles down the road on the lake. The house is well heated with wall heaters and also a wood stove for the winter. There is also an outdoor fire pit (but please make sure it isn't a no burn day before using), foos ball table, TV, DVD and Blue Ray player. Wi-Fi and cable TV included. There are three portable room air condtioners.

Summary: Peaceful, quiet, beautiful, extraordinary! I love photography and this is a photographers paradise. As for the home... I felt like I was home. Comfy bed, soft sheets, great light in the bathroom for getting ready, huge kitchen... just ugh! Loved it all. Wish I was there right now. And not to mention the price! Everyone waved at me on my photography walks. Absolutely Peaceful. If I could give Amy more than 5 stars I would!
