Summary: The hotel must be under renovation because a lot of things were in poor condition. The elevator was dirty, jerky and the hand rails were broken. The carpets in the hallway were absolutely horrible and filthy! The room itself was clean and the AC worked fine but was extremely noisy. The only positive was the beds were clean and there was clean linens in the bathroom. The ice maker was right near our door and kept making loud noises. The final straw was a very drunk, loud neighbor in the room next to us yelling and screaming at 1:00 AM this morning. We had enough and checked out at 1:30 and drove through the night all the way home. This was the absolute worst Hampton Inn we have ever stayed in, and we are well traveled people (travel baseball parents for many years) and have stayed in hotels all over the Eastern US. The staff was exceptional and I felt sorry for them. They are the reason I didn't give a 1 star. I do not usually write negative reviews, but couldn't ignore all of the things that was wrong with this hotel!
