Summary: The one thing I would expect when I pay for a room with a kitchen is to have it basically stocked with essentials like plates, cooking pots and pans, cutlery, ect., having to piecemeal it through the front desk made me wish I would have called first and found a place that provided that. I would have paid a little more and be held accountable for those items in the room rather than try to find them elsewhere.
