Summary: We had a love/hate relationship with this casita. Love: the location, the front courtyard, the privacy and the gated area for our puppies. Hated: the tall bed is hard to get into/out of, especially for seniors or those with mobility issues. Our main complaint was the front screen door didn’t close properly and the screen itself wasn’t attached at the bottom. We attempted to tape it down ourselves since we needed the air flow as unit doesn’t have air conditioning. We responded to a survey on our first full day in the unit and were assured management would follow up, but we never heard from anyone. Don’t know if the screen door situation was to blame, but we encountered an infestation of flies during our stay. We killed 50 and finally gave up. For someone who has an aversion to flies and the germs they carry, that was the deal breaker for us.
