Welcome to a wonderful mix of the history of Julian and the comforts of modern living. This cabin is an amazing vintage home located one mile from downtown historic Julian. Family owned, this home has been loved and cared for as if it is a member of our family. Nestled in the trees of Whispering Pines, this small home feels so open inside. It is like spending your vacation in a warm embrace. There is a full kitchen, a sleeping nook, a full bath and a living room where you can sit in front of a wood burning fireplace. You can enjoy the dance of the flames or snuggle up and watch a movie or your favorite sport on the TV.
We are in a friendly neighborhood called Whispering Pines, but you feel like you are all alone in a mountain cabin retreat. Our home is surrounded by trees, boasts an awesome deck out back, and is peaceful and quiet all year round. You can watch nature, have a BBQ and see the occasional turkeys and deer stroll by as if they own the place. This is why we describe our cabin as truly magical. It is as if you are transported to an early day where life was more simple, family most important and relaxing with a good strong cup of coffee on your deck was a good way to start the day.
You are enjoying a slice of Julian history, as this cabin was built in 1911 as a line shack for a cattle company. In 1945 it became the San Diego Women's Business Professionals Club. Family owned, this home has been loved and cared for as a piece of our family.
