The space
Compass^NORTH is 1100 ft² of bohemian bliss! NORTH is the largest of 4 bungalows at Compass Retreats. Completely renovated in 2022. Accommodations include 2 bedrooms, both located upstairs. One bedroom has a queen size bed and a futon. The other bedroom has 2 full-size beds. 8 freshly washed towels and wash towels are provided in the bathroom upon each guest's arrival. The bathroom has a tiled shower with a glass door. Shampoo, condition, and body soap for guests to utilize. Lovely outdoor area with propane BBQ for grilling and bistro lights on timer throughout the property for ambiance. Stainless steel appliances and a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals. A magic bullet for blending smoothies or margaritas, a toaster, and a waffle maker is available for guests. Whether you are looking to unplug from the daily grind or work remotely, Compass^NORTH can accommodate you as we have Xfinity High-Speed internet. Love the snow, but do you not like driving in it? Not to worry, we are located right on HW 108 for easy access.

Do you travel with multiple families?Compass Retreats is perfect for multi-family vacations, church retreats, or company team-building excursions for groups of up to 16 people. The entire property has 4 bungalows, NORTH: 2 rooms, 3 beds, and 1 1/2 bathrooms. SOUTH: 1 room, 1 bed, and 1 bathroom. EAST: 1 room and Loft, 2 beds, 1 bathroom ( please note the bathroom is in the bedroom). WEST: 1 room and Loft, 2 beds, 1 bathroom ( please note the bathroom is in the bedroom). Guest access
Compass Retreats is made up of 4 bungalows, NORTH, SOUTH, EAST & WEST. We can accommodate 2 vehicles. Please park directly in front of your bungalow. We are a pet-friendly property so there may be dogs on the premises during your stay.

HOLIDAY PRICING
Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years' week-2 nights minimum. Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends-2 nights minimum.
Holiday pricing starts at 219.00/night.

IMPORTANT - We do not accommodate guests checking out on Thanksgiving day, Christmas Eve, or Christmas day. If this information is overlooked before booking, we will ask you to please cancel on your end as this is notated in our listing.

PET POLICY
Pets must be approved. Small breeds only under 30lbs. $20.00 pet fee per night/per dog. 2 dogs max.

EXTRA GUESTS:
The guest count must be the same as on the reservation. Keep in mind there is an added $10/night fee for each guest over 4 to cover extra cleaning and amenity usage.

Xfinity high-speed Internet. Enjoy streaming Netflix on the 55-inch smart TV.

NOISE ORDINANCE
Sound travels very easily in this area. Please respect the fellow cabins. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am in this area.

FIREPIT
Warming fires need to be approved by the host to confirm that we are not in high fire season.

BBQ
We do provide a gas barbecue located on the deck. Keep in mind that we do not maintain the propane. We recommend you bring up an extra propane tank for backup just in case it runs out. Or you can have the existing exchanged at the Chevron a few blocks away from the cabin.

WINTER TRAVEL
In the winter months, we highly recommend that you carry chains and/or have a 4-wheel drive. Compass Retreats is located right on the highway which means easy winter access. We provide two shovels at the property. If visiting during active snowfall, you might be required to shovel access for parking.

IF YOUR STAY IS CANCELLED DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER OR IF THE CABIN IS NOT ACCESSIBLE DUE, TO HEAVY SNOW, WE WILL NOTIFY YOU 24 HOURS BEFORE CHECKING IN TO RESCHEDULE YOUR STAY OR ISSUE YOU A REFUND.

HOUSE RULES
Compass^NORTH is a sanctuary for couples, small families and professional seeking relaxation in a peaceful environment. We have a strict 8 guest per stay visit. In the event that rule is ignored, we may charge up to $150/night per additional guest. Please let us know in advance if your plans have changed.

MINI SPLITS AC/ HEATER
Summer months- Please turn off units in both the loft and in living room when not in cabin. Please ensure doors and windows closed when units are in use. Excessive use could result in a service charge.
Winter months- Set thermostat to heat 50° upon departure.

PET POLICY

1.) Please no pets on furniture.
2.) Dogs must be leashed at all times outside Cabin.
3.) Dogs can not be left unattended at the cabin.
4.) please be respectful and pick up all poopoo.
5.) If we receive barking complaints from neighbors, we will kindly inform you so that you can be mindful of the noise.

FIREPIT
Warming fires need to be approved by the host to confirm that we are not in high fire season. If a warming fire has been approve d, the warming fire shall only be lit in the fire-pit area only. We ask you to follow Cal Fire's warming fire regulations; only logs 3 inches or more in diameter. No sticks, twigs, or pine needles in a fire. Fire can not be more than two feet high. For fire safety, please utilize the water hose located at the back of the cabin to extinguish the fire when finished with it. Please keep the hose handy if the fire gets too big. NEVER LEAVE A FIRE UNATTENDED. Failure to abide by this rule will forfeit your security deposit.

NOISE ORDINANCE
Sound travels very easily in this area. Please respect the fellow cabins. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8am in this area. If we receive, noise complaints, we will kindly provide you guys a heads up. If the complaints continue your security deposit will be collected.

No smoking- This is a non-smoking property. Please no smoking of any kind on the premises. If smoking is detected, your deposi t will not be returned.

Any type of illegal drug use or excessive drinking will terminate the rental agreement and your deposit will not be returned.

Cabin is not childproof. Parents are responsible of supervising children/ minors at all time.

CHECK-OUT INSTRUCTIONS
Check-out is at 11 am
Due to the tight schedule, our housekeeper keeps, it is important to check out no later than 11 am unless otherwise approved. $10.00 will be charged for every 15 minutes past check-out time.

Please place all used linens, pillow cases and towels in the bamboo baskets in the bedroom closet.

Please move all furniture, outdoor furniture, and household items back to their original locations.

Please place living room remotes on coffee table.

Please place all trash in the dumpster by the main home.

If you utilized the pack N’ Play or high chair during your stay, please wipe it down and put their storage covers back on and place them back in closet.

If you utilized the BBQ during your stay, please clean the grill and place the bbq cover back on.
