Summary: If you enjoy staying in quirky places with a lot of personality, you will love Ashton's place in Denver. She's doing an amazing job renovating this house, so definitely read her property description to see what new things are happening, as she's extremely thorough in what you should expect. What I loved about the house was that there was plenty of space to hang out - we were able to visit with my partner's adult kids without feeling cramped at all. The house is full of nooks and crannies and I loved that the decor felt really personal and interesting. Our chihuahua loved running around in the backyard which is a nice size, and I'm sure it will be beautiful in the summer. The kitchen is small but thoughtfully equipped - note that the stove is period and the oven is very small, and there is only a small refrigerator, but this was fine for us on vacation. We were able to cook everything we needed with only a few adaptations. Ashton left us a lovely bottle of wine and some really thoughtful activity suggestions. The light rail is just down the street, which was great - you really are so close. The neighborhood is very similar to the one I live in - if you are used to the environment of a mixed income metro area, it will feel very familiar. If you're looking for cookie cutter, this may not be the place for you, but if you're like me, you'll adore it!
