Chipmunk Cabin is a charming 2 bdrm, 2 bathroom newly furnished cabin nestled in a quiet neighborhood around Lake Glenville. We're on a 1-acre wooded lot with plenty of parking for vehicles (or your boat!) Spend your mornings sipping coffee on our front porch breathing in the fresh mountain air and taking in the sounds of nature. Spend your evenings playing board games on the screened-in porch or roasting marshmallows by our bonfire pit. Take a walk through the neighborhood for some stunning views of Lake Glenville!
The main living space has a newly renovated, fully equipped kitchen with quartz countertops and ss appliances, dining area, living room with comfortable couches, a smart TV and a wood burning fireplace for those cool nights. There is a washer and dryer in the closet near the dining area.
The master bedroom has a new king bed, smart TV, en suite bathroom with a shower and tub combo. The guest bedroom has a new queen bed, a twin over twin bunk bed, closet and a guest bathroom across the hall. The guest bathroom is a full bathroom with a shower.
Our cabin is a 5 min. drive to downtown Cashiers and centrally located to some of the best hikes, breweries and restaurants in Jackson County. Rent a boat, paddle boards or kayaks at nearby Signal Marina (5 min. away) and spend a day on Lake Glenville. Spend a day tubing down the French Broad River, driving along the Blue Ridge Parkway or hiking through the Nantahala National Forest. Go and see one of the many waterfalls nearby, bring a picnic basket and a swimsuit! There is plenty of shopping in Cashiers, Highlands or nearby Sylva. There is also a ski and snow tubing area in nearby Sapphire Valley. Spring, summer, fall and winter are all fabulous times to the Glenville/Cashiers area!
