You found it! Time to relax and take in the beauty and serenity of the National Buffalo River “America’s First National River” and newly designated “International Dark Sky Park”.
Buffalo Star cabin in St. Joe is located off Highway 65 and just 3 miles from both the Woolum and the Baker Ford Access. With 135 miles of river to float, we are one of the closest cabins to the river in the middle district. The Buffalo Star cabin is located on a paved road for easy access for all our biker friends.
The space
The Buffalo Star cabin is a newly renovated 3 bedroom, 2 bath log cabin. It will accommodate up to 8 people comfortably. The Master bedroom “Bear Room” has a King size bed with on-suite bathroom. A guest bedroom “Forest Room” has a Queen size bed. And another guest bedroom “Fishing Room” has two single beds sharing a full bathroom. The Living room has plenty of seating with an additional Queen pullout sofa. We provide all towels, linens and plush bedding to ensure a perfect nights sleep. Also, there’s a washer and dryer for your convenience.
A fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances including a Keurig Duo, and everything you may need for all your meals. We provide your basic necessities, ground coffee, variety of Keurig pods, sugar, and spices. The Dining area seats 8 comfortably. For our BBQ enthusiasts, step out onto the side deck and enjoy the Propane BBQ Grill. The large front porch is wonderful place to sit and crack open a cold one! At night, sit beside the fire-pit, tell fish stories and gaze under one of the most remarkable night skies Arkansas has to offer!
And just because you want to get away from it all and get connected with nature doesn’t mean you have to be completely unconnected. We provide WiFi, Smart TV’s with Streaming Services like Netflix, Hulu, and many more. A DVD player with full DVD library. And if you feel like roughing it, we have board games!
Bring your fur babies! We are Pet Friendly. Please let us know how many and what type of animals you will be bringing so we can accommodate them as best we can. We ask that your pets be house trained and up to date on flea/tick preventative.
