Located in Newland, we are close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, Banner Elk, Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, Linville Falls and many more mountain experiences all within 20 to 30 minutes. So if you want to hike, ski, mountain bike, visit wineries, go antiquing, or just sit back and relax, our location is perfect.
Step into our enchanting retreat featuring a large open great room and kitchen with views from every window. Our home is perfect for family gatherings, large meals, game nights and movie nights. We also have a large family/game room downstairs with ping pong, games and movies. Our log cabin includes 2 king bedrooms one with attached bathroom, and 3 queen beds, two with attached baths. Total of 3 1/2 bathrooms with showers, bathtubs, bidet, and hair dryers equipped to meet your needs. An additional space off the downstairs king bedroom with 2 twin beds provides extra family space. Experience a fantastic stay at our phenomenal property.

Our house is called The High Mountain House, because it is at 4300 feet altitude and we do experience snow and inclement weather sometimes in winter. So if you are coming to ski or to enjoy the snow you will need four wheel/all wheel vehicles.
